Check it Out
50th Anniversary Celebration Sept. 20, 2025
Come and meet Teddy, the Golden Retriever and Maverick, the brown and tan hound mix at our Celebration. They will be there at 1:30 PM in the Pittsford Community Library Fisher room.
A note on donated bags, thanks
As the sorting room is prepared for the coming book sale, one of my favorite tasks is organizing all the bags that are donated along with the books. There are so many great bags out there and I want to take them all home.
If you shop at our book sale this weekend maybe you will be lucky enough to have your books packed in one of these great bags!
Thank you for the generous donations!

DONATIONS TO THE PITTSFORD HISTORICAL SOCIETY
During Fine and Rare Books research we found a four volume set of books from 1925 titled History of the Genesee Country.
After significant investigation we discovered that the Rundel Library and Genesee Country Museum both have the four volume sets and our Pittsford Historical Society did not. Audrey Johnson and Vicki Profit, Pittsford town historian and assistant historian, gratefully accepted the set for their library.
We in the past have given the Pittsford Historical Society other significant items pertaining to the history of our area. Another interesting tome first edition 1916 was Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Patriotism Being the Report of the Commission to Dedicate the Monument Erected by the State of New York in Anderson , Georgia. This included names of New York military buried there with family from our area.
IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!
