The Friends of Pittsford Library Spring Book Sales

MARCH 19th, 20th and 21st

Thursday, March 19th from 4 PM to 8 PM

As The snow continues to pile up, the “to be read” stack gets smaller and smaller!
You can welcome Spring at our March book sale and replenish your supply.
The volunteers in the Friends sorting room have been working hard to provide an amazing collection for your book shopping experience.
The Friends of the library appreciated all your donations!

The sale is open to all! Book tables will be replenished every day sale so everyone has a chance to find some wonderful buys.
Bags will be in short supply so please bring your own.

IMPORTANT BOOK SALE NEWS

• Due to the overwhelming response of patrons who want to participate in the opening session of the sale on Thursday at 4pm, the Friends will be assigning numbers to shoppers.

  This  system has been used in the past during the large sales and will hopefully eliminate the need for shoppers to line up early to save their space at the door. 
  Here is how it works:

  1. Starting at 12 Noon on Thursday you may come to the library hallway outside the sorting room and get a number for entry into the sale. These will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

  2.Once you have your number you are free to leave. The sale organizers suggest you return no earlier than 3:45. Using your number, find your place in the line and please be patient as the Friends prepare to open the sale at 4 pm

  3. Shoppers arriving after 3:45 can simply enter the back of the line with the understanding that people with a previously obtained number will be joining their place in line ahead of you.

  4. If the weather is decent you will be asked to line up outside. Our goal is to minimize the impact on the library patrons.

  *****SALE ORGANIZERS ASK THAT YOU DO NOT BRING IN CARTS OR LARGE BINS.

  PLEASE ASK FOR ASSISTANCE IF YOU ARE PURCHASING LARGE QUANTITIES.

  WE WANT ALL BOOK SALE PATRONS TO HAVE AN ENJOYABLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.

All proceeds benefit our Pittsford Community Library!
